A quick weekend trip up to the Alabama Hills, famous for being one of Hollywood's favorite filming locations! Didn't really had a plan... ended up: exploring, hiking a little, camping with ah-mazing views, bouldering, stargazing, and catching the light. The perfect trip to reset 😌
📍The Mobius Arch Loop Trail // About a half mile loop trail. We ended up having the arch to ourselves when we got there! The pup loved running up and down the arch 🐶
There's not much on the Mountain Project for routes, but definitely opportunities to climb.
We drove up and down Movie Flat Road, which was a treat. Alabama Hills is managed by the Bureau of Land Management, which means dispersed camping! We ended picking a perfect spot near these boulders - can't go wrong with our truck tent set up!
Chasing alpenglow anytime I get the chance! Got up early with my pup and walked around to experience a very dreamy morning. Put the camera away for the rest of the trip to stay in the moment. Overall, a much needed trip (as always), and I can't wait to come back!
